§ 2.14.010. Purpose

The economic development council (EDC) purpose is to function as an advisory to the city council whereby making recommendations regarding economic development.

In conjunction with the city council's development of a "vision" and goals for the Phoenix community, the economic development council (EDC) would initiate and implement an economic development strategic plan. The results of the development strategic plan will oversee/manage all policies and contractual agreements pertaining to the expected outcomes from the plan.
